Which Corona vaccine is given in which country?

About 10 corona vaccines are currently being developed in various countries around the world, and more are being tested. Iran, however, has two main options for importing vaccines.

Corona vaccine
According to Hamshahri Online, quoting Hamshahri newspaper, the news indicates that the first shipment of anti-coronary vaccine will arrive in Iran in the coming days; Of course, the exact time is not known. A few days ago, in February, the President and the Ministry of Health announced the coming days as the arrival time of this shipment. The question is, which of the produced vaccines is to be imported into the country? So far, no one other than Minoo Mehrz, who is in charge of evaluating the Iranian Crohn’s vaccine, has spoken about the exact source of the imported Crohn’s vaccine. He was the only one to announce two days ago that the vaccine was imported from Sweden; Without revealing the name of the manufacturer. Previously, Chinese vaccines were an option, but we will have to wait for the first shipment to determine which vaccine will be available. Now this report examines the details of anti-coronary vaccines produced and Iran’s advanced options.

Chinese Corona vaccines

China has developed several models of anti-coronary vaccines, one of which is Sinovac. The Sinovac vaccine is manufactured by Sinovac Biopharmaceutical Company in Beijing. This vaccine is based on the function of the dead virus in the body; That is, by injecting it, the virus enters the body and the immune system produces antibodies to fight it. The vaccine makers have emphasized that injecting synovac does not cause disease in the body and only forces the body to make antibodies. The World Health Organization (WHO) approves a vaccine when it is at least 50% effective. In relation to the Sinovac vaccine, this number is slightly higher, ie 50.4%. One of the features of Synovac is that it can be stored at a temperature of 2 to 8 degrees Celsius, which makes it easy to store and transport to other countries.
One of the things that countries definitely pay attention to when buying and injecting vaccines is the cost of injecting vaccines into citizens. The vaccine cost 400 yuan (۴ 45 / $ 60) to get vaccinated in China. According to the state-owned company Biofarma in Indonesia, the price of Sinovac was around 200,000 rupees ($ 13.60 / ۱۰ 10).

In addition to the Sinovac vaccine, a Chinese state-owned company is also developing two types of vaccines, one of which is Sinofarm. These vaccines are similar to the synovac, inactivated vaccine. About four weeks ago, it was announced that the result of the third phase of the vaccine would be 79 percent successful, but according to UAE health officials, the efficiency of the third phase of the vaccine was 86 percent. Of course, the vaccine had previously been injected into nearly one million Chinese volunteers. In addition to Sinovac and Sinofarm, two other Chinese vaccines are being tested; One is the Canisno Biology vaccine, which is currently in its third phase of clinical trials in Saudi Arabia, and the other is the Ano Ginfi Langkom vaccine. The vaccine is made by refining a portion of the virus that, once it enters the body, activates the immune system to produce antibodies. This vaccine is also undergoing the third phase of its clinical trial.

Which countries are the buyers of Chinese vaccines?

So far, several Asian countries, such as Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines, have sought Chinese Sinovac vaccines. In Indonesia, comprehensive vaccination with this vaccine has been started since January 2021. Turkey has also used Synovac for emergency vaccination. In addition, contracts appear to have been signed with Brazil and Chile to deliver the vaccine. The United Arab Emirates and Bahrain have also used Sinovac for vaccination, but Ukraine has said it will ask China to pay 1.9 million doses for the vaccine if the vaccine is less than 70 percent effective.

Russian Corona vaccine

On November 20, Russia announced the start of mass production of the second Corona vaccine called Epivac Corona. Moscow officials have already announced the development of the first Corona vaccine, called Sputnik, and said that the vaccine will start next year. Russia says scientists have recently developed a third non-injectable, coronary vaccine. The Russian vaccine is not yet officially an option for Iran to import. So far, Palestine, Hungary and Argentina have purchased the Sputnik vaccine, and vaccination has begun in Argentina. Yesterday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that his Russian Sputnik vaccine had been approved in Iran. Iranian officials have said the vaccine may be available soon.

American and German vaccines

The American company Pfizer, in partnership with the German pharmaceutical company Biontech, was the first pharmaceutical company in the world to announce its production on Monday, November 9th. Another American vaccine produced is called Moderna, which is more than 90% effective. In late December, the Supreme Leader banned the import of British and American vaccines.

Indian Corona vaccine

Among all countries, India received an emergency use permit for its domestic vaccine in the first month of the year. The Astraznka pharmaceutical vaccine, developed in collaboration with scientists at Oxford University, is one of the vaccines licensed for use in India. The second vaccine licensed in India is made by the Indian company Bharat Biotech. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi described the licensing of the two vaccines as a “turning point” in his country’s fight against the Covid-19 epidemic. India, with a population of 1.3 billion, is the second most infected country in the world. In this country, vaccination has started with both vaccines.

Turkey Corona vaccine

Turkey has engaged in international cooperation to develop and produce the vaccine. According to officials, there has been no vaccine production capacity in recent months, and even if they can get the vaccine, they will not be able to mass-produce it before other countries. Accordingly, a member of the Turkish Ministry of Health’s Corona virus committee announced in April that many efforts had been made to develop the vaccine, but that Turkey was unable to produce large quantities of the vaccine. The Malaysian prime minister later announced that he was ready to work with Turkey to develop the vaccine. In early January, the Turkish Minister of Health announced that Turkey and Russia had agreed to develop a vaccine and that clinical trials would be conducted in cooperation with the two countries. But it has been about a month since Turkey started vaccinating with the priority of the medical staff and using the Chinese Sinuac vaccine.

Swedish Corona vaccine

Astraznka is one of the vaccines that, according to its creators and the evidence of injection into volunteers, has the least side effects and the highest response, and most importantly, it is easier to maintain and deliver than other types of vaccines. The Astraznka vaccine is based on the attenuated common cold virus (known as adenovirus) obtained from chimpanzees. This vaccine is produced in Sweden in collaboration with the University of Oxford. Of course, its mass production is entrusted to India’s largest vaccine factory. The Oxford-Astrazenka vaccine was unveiled on December 30, 2020, and just five days later, on January 4, 2021, the first doses of the vaccine were circulated in the blood of volunteers. On the day vaccination began, 530,000 doses of the vaccine were injected at six reference hospitals in Oxford, London, Sussex, Langshire and Warwickshire. The Oxford-Astrazenka vaccine was scheduled to deliver 80 million doses of the corona vaccine to 27 EU countries by the end of March 2021, beginning in April 1400. But a senior company official said that due to the existing problems, it will only be able to send 31 million doses of vaccine to the European Union in the first three months of 2021. The Astraznka vaccine is currently used in India and the United Kingdom. In addition, vaccines are currently being tested in Australia, France, South Korea, Cuba, and other vaccines.
