The end of the corona transmission chain in Iran has been announced

Mustafa Ghani, the secretary of the scientific committee of the National Corona Headquarters, said: “We will not have a shortage of Corona vaccine until September next year, and we can cut the corona transmission chain by the end of next year.”

The secretary of the scientific committee of the National Staff against Corona said: “Iran’s quota in Kvax is the first imported shipment of Corona vaccine that will enter the country in the coming weeks.”

Mustafa Ghani, the secretary of the scientific committee of the National Corona Headquarters, said: “We were the only country to announce that we do not want all the vaccine baskets belonging to this collection and a very good selection has been made in this regard.”

He continued: “The National Corona Vaccine Committee decided to provide vaccine from sources that fulfill the Supreme Leader’s order, and about three weeks before his order, the issue of purchasing a corona vaccine from Pfizer was off the agenda, and this issue was not at all.” It was not raised.
Ghani added: “The vaccine required by the country will be provided from other sources that have reported fewer complications in the third stage of human testing and are economically viable at the same time.”

He stressed the need to prioritize the injection of imported vaccines and said: “These vaccines will be available to high-risk groups, including medical staff and the elderly in the first stage.”

The secretary of the scientific committee of the National Staff against Corona said: “The Iranian Corona vaccine is going through the manufacturing process successfully and this shows that the Iranian vaccine will be produced on time and will be offered to the domestic market.”

Ghani stated: The first Iranian corona vaccine called “Koo Iran Barakat” has entered the first phase of human testing for about a month and has been injected into 21 people so far; Its production infrastructure is ready and developing.

He continued: “Razi Vaccine and Serum Research Institute is the second manufacturer of Corona vaccine, and the vaccine of this collection will enter the human testing phase in the next few days.” The institute has the infrastructure to produce the vaccine, which it must develop.

Ghani added: “The Pasteur Institute of Iran will most likely enter the third phase of the human test of the corona vaccine in late March this year with the joint cooperation of Cuba.”

He said: “Gradually, by the end of this year, two other Iranian vaccine manufacturers will receive a clinical trial license, which must also provide the infrastructure for the industrial production of corona vaccine.”

The secretary of the scientific committee of the National Corona Headquarters, noting that the Iranian Corona vaccine will enter the general vaccination plan from the end of June next year, said: “The production infrastructure of this technological product is being carried out in several stages.”

He continued: “By the end of June, we will have access to Iranian vaccines for injection, and there will be no shortage of vaccines until September next year, in other words, by continuing the vaccination plan until the end of next year, we will reach a point where we can cut the transmission chain.”
