Serena has a tennis family. Her parents are tennis coach. Serena and her older sister, Venus, learns tennis from their parents. When she was 9 years, their family moved to West Palm Beach of florida and she attend to Rick Macci tennis academy. When academy wanted to send 10 years old Serena to the national junior tennis tournaments, her father stop refuse and tell them to focus on school work. In 1995, Serena’s father started coaching her in home and said that would be better. Williams commented that “Everyone does different things. I think for Venus and I, we just attempted a different road, and it worked for us.”

She won her first title in 1999 US Open. Then another titles, 2002 French Open, and 2003 Australian Open. Her brilliant titles continues.

In terms of her personal life, she married to Alexis Ohanian, an American-Armenian internet entrepreneur and investor. He is 2 years younger than Serena. They married on November 16, 2017, in New Orleans with presence of their famous friends, such as Beyonce, anne Wintour, and Kim Kardashian. in Aprill 2017, she confirmed her pregnancy and their daughter, Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr, born in September 2017.
