The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by the President of the Razi Institute and the President of Iran University of Medical Sciences to start a clinical trial of the Corona vaccine belonging to the Razi Vaccine and Serum Research Institute.
According to this memorandum, a group of researchers from Iran University of Medical Sciences and Hazrat Rasoul Akram Hospital will conduct a clinical trial of the corona vaccine by the Razi Vaccine and Serum Research Institute.
Dr. Mohammad Hossein Fallah Mehrabadi, Deputy Director of Research and Technology of Razi Institute, on the sidelines of the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding for the clinical trial of Razi vaccine “Koo Pars” belonging to Razi Institute, said: “Animal studies of this vaccine were performed on three laboratory rodents and rabbits شد.
He added: “After preparing the documents in Razi Institute and sending them to the Food and Drug Administration, this organization, after reviewing and approving the documents and protocols of the Razi Institute corona vaccine, provided it to the National Ethics Committee for review and obtaining a license.” The vaccine was approved by the National Ethics Committee.
Fallah Mehrabadi, stating that the code of Razi Koo Pars clinical trial license has been obtained and is in the process of receiving human injection license, reminded: After injecting the vaccine into humans, the samples will be checked in the laboratories of the Food and Drug Administration and approved by this organization. The human injection of this vaccine will start in the next three weeks.
He reminded: the clinical trial of phases one and two will be completed in four to five months and the results will be decisive for issuing permission to enter phase three and mass production.
While appreciating the cooperation of the Ministry of Health, despite the administrative bureaucracies, the Deputy Minister of Research and Technology of Razi Institute pointed to the strictures of the Food and Drug Administration regarding the corona vaccine and emphasized: Accordingly, the organization also has its own strictures, and this has been one of the reasons for the delay of several months in issuing the license of the ethics committee for the secret vaccine.
