The British Foreign Office announced on Wednesday that Dominic Robb and his US counterpart had discussed Iran and international developments.

This is the first telephone call between the two countries’ foreign ministers, during which they discussed opportunities to work together for “common goals, strengthening democratic values around the world and unity between the two countries.”
The two sides also discussed what he called the “need to address Iran’s destabilizing behavior” and to hold China accountable in accordance with its international obligations.
The G7 summit and the International Conference on Climate Change to be held in the UK this year were other topics the two sides discussed. In this regard, the British Foreign Secretary welcomed the return of the new US President to the Paris Climate Agreement and the resumption of interactions with the World Health Organization.
The two sides agreed to talk to each other in the near future and continue their negotiations.
Bellinken, 58, won a vote of confidence in the US Senate on Tuesday to formally take over the helm of diplomacy.
His biggest challenge is reviving the agreement and lifting the sanctions imposed by the former US president two years ago.
Donald Trump left Burjam in 2018, but new President Joe Biden has promised to return to the deal.
