He further attributed the move to some news and rumors about the possible presence of Seyyed Hassan Khomeini in the elections, adding: “Sleep peacefully with the honorable members of the Guardian Council.”
In recent weeks, there have been rumors that Hassan Khomeini may run in the presidential election, which has been criticized by fundamentalist media outlets, including Kayhan.
